With nearly 20 years in the industry, Chris Mealy has worked on numerous projects in many sectors, including higher education, healthcare, science & technology, industrial, federal military, and others. His main responsibility at Messer Construction these days is driving and managing a VDC department that supports more than $1 billion worth of projects every year. One key issue he focuses on is to address what happens to all the data post construction. He works with owners on the front and the back end of projects to format, collect, validate and include in turnover, important data ready for use by the O&M teams, allowing them to effectively start managing their new facility with data much more quickly than ever before.
