When George Pfeffer joined DPR in 1992 as a project engineer, he was inspired to solve problems and interact with teams. A builder to the core, George has overseen some of the DPR’s largest and most complex projects. In late 2005, DPR's long-standing customer called upon the company for its 450,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility expansion that needed to be completed in 16 months, a project that many called impossible. George spent the project’s duration successfully completing the world’s largest cell culture biotech manufacturing facility two weeks ahead of schedule and on budget.

It's this builder mindset and skillset that George continues to rely on in his service as DPR’s CEO. As a member of DPR's Leadership Team, he strategically guides DPR's $10 billion plus global organization, helping to build a culture of trust and belonging for the company's more than 12,000 employees. He prioritizes enjoyment in what he does every day and succeeds in realizing DPR's vision as a forward-thinking, highly technical, self-performing general contractor that exists to build great things--great teams, great projects, great relationships, a great place to work.
