Michelle Luster is the director of risk management for Swinerton Inc., with more than 25 years of experience in construction risk management for general and specialty contracting. Michelle has the CRIS designation, and in 2021, she served on the national AGC Climate Task Force. In the recent past, Michelle has spoken at International Risk Management Institute (IRMI) Construction Risk Conference, the ABA Insurance Coverage Litigation Conference and the AGC Surety and Risk Conference. She holds an Associates’ Degree in Liberal Arts from the College of Lake County. Michelle originally hails from Oklahoma, and is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts, earning her Gold Award in 1987. When she’s not reading insurance policies, contracts or wrap-up manuals, Michelle enjoys hiking, cooking and getting lost in a great book.
