Jennifer Sloan Ziegler PhD, PE, ENV SP, CEPC, M.ASCE is experienced in civil and environmental engineering focusing on water resources and project management. Her work has included engineering design, construction document preparation, and modeling, as well as policy development, grant writing, records research, stakeholder engagement, public hearings, and document preparation. She has extensive experience with environmental quality projects from her work on environmental assessments, stream mitigation, Internal Technical Reviews, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and water/wastewater modeling. She is also experienced with hydrologic modification impact analysis as part of site design and erosion control measures. Jennifer’s project management experience includes managing multiple six and seven-figure project budgets (fee only).

Jennifer works alongside Cypress Environment & Infrastructure staff to maximize interdisciplinary, innovative designs to meet client needs. As an example of this approach, Jennifer was the engineer responsible for designing the longest constructed pier over marsh and submerged aquatic vegetation habitat in Mississippi. The project was awarded an ENR Best Project Award of Merit (2021).
