Anderson

Barbara Anderson, senior architect with St. Louis-based engineer-architect Oates Associates, has been elected chair of the advocacy committee for the U.S. Green Building Council. In addition to promoting LEED certification and the benefits of sustainable buildings, she is overseeing Green Homes, which advances green homebuilding. She is also overseeing government advocacy subcommittees that encourage local and state governments to adopt green building initiatives. Anderson has more than 20 years of experience with a variety of project types.

 

 

 

 

Weeks

Thomas Weeks has joined the Chicago office of real estate and design-build firm Clayco Inc. as principal. Weeks, who has nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate business, is responsible for assembling and developing parcels and pursuing turnkey, build-to-suit projects for corporate and industrial clients. Weeks previously was principal with Weeks-Weldon Development Co., which specializes in resort development in the Caribbean as well as real estate opportunities in the Chicago area.

 

 

 

 

 

Philbrick

Christopher Philbrick has joined engineer Sebesta Blomberg as director of the firm's Chicago operations. Philbrick, who has more than 18 years of experience in commissioning, energy, sustainability and mechanical engineering, is leading project and client development activities for the office. He is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED Accredited Professional.
