On May 16, GAI Consultants (GAI)—a national engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firm with four Indiana locations and 27 years operating in the state—hosted an open house event to celebrate its Fort Wayne office relocation. GAI staff was joined by clients and guests for the lunchtime event. Special guests included Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry, who addressed attendees and participated in a ribbon cutting, and Allen County Commissioners Therese Brown, Nelson Peters, and Richard Beck.

Allan Libbe, co-founder of Walbridge, Ohio-based Rudolph Libbe Inc., and his wife, Suzanne, are the first recipients of the Owens Community College Foundation – Allan and Suzanne Libbe Philanthropy Award. The college also established the Rudolph Libbe Group – Allan Libbe Honorary Endowed Scholarship with contributions from the Rudolph Libbe Group, and Allan and Suzanne’s children, John Libbe and Margaret Libbe St. John.

Michael Meagher, senior vice president at McHugh Construction, accepts the Community Partner Award from Joe Ahern, CEO of the 100 Club of Chicago, in September. The award recognizes an exemplary commitment to and accomplishments as a community ambassador to the 100 Club, which supports the families of first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty. McHugh has been a long-time supporter of the organization, contributing both financially and through numerous volunteer efforts.

Ozingawas honored with two awards at the Wisconsin Ready Mixed Concrete Association (WRMCA) 35th Annual Concrete Design Awards.
Ozinga earned a Merit Industrial Award for their work on The Uline 16 Branch Warehouse and Office in Kenosha County. Ozinga also received the Merit Commercial Award for their work on The Corners of Brookfield.
