Terrence E. O'Neal has been appointed chair in Manhattan of Community Board 6's Land Use & Waterfront Committee. He has served CB6, which represents the area east of Lexington Avenue from 14th to 59th streets, since 2009, when he was appointed by Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer. The CB6 Land Use Committee is currently studying plans for midtown modernization and development of the new East Side Riverfront Park.
Sterling & Sterling Inc., Woodbury, N.Y., has hired Doreen DiCicco as senior vice president in the company's construction insurance practice. Joseph Santospirito has been named president of Sterling & Sterling's newly created construction services of New York unit.
