Micah Boyce, chief estimator at KBE Building Corp., Farmington, Conn., has earned his designated design-build professional certification from the Design-Build Institute of America.

VIP Structures Inc., Syracuse, N.Y., has hired Julia Ruman as an estimator. She is a graduate of Onondaga Community College and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and has experience working on commercial and institutional projects throughout upstate New York.
