Faithful+Gould has appointed Reza Amirkhalili as the new president and managing director of the organization's Americas business. He will be based in Washington, D.C. Amirkhalili has spent 25 years with Faithful+Gould, holding various positions including estimator, project manager, office managing director, sector lead and chief operating officer.

E-J Electric Installation Co., New York City, has promoted Dave T. Ferguson to general manager of the roadway division. Most recently, he was vice president of operations. He also managed projects in banking critical systems, data centers, retail and power generation. Ferguson is a graduate of the I.B.E.W. Journeyman Training Program and a New York state-certified welder and licensed crane operator.

Dewberry has promoted Anthony Fulco to associate vice president in its highway engineering department in Bloomfield, N.J. He was most recently project manager for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority's Interchange 6 to 9 widening in East Windsor under five separate construction contracts.

MAST Construction Services Inc. has promoted three senior project managers to project executive. Troy Marzziotti, Jim Napolitano and Paul Skabich will take on corporate responsibilities in management, staffing and client relations, among other areas. Marzziotti joined MAST in 2004. He specializes in the education and health care sectors. Napolitano has been with MAST since 2002. In his new role, he oversees work from preconstruction through close-out. Napolitano specializes in managing government, corrections, institutional and education projects. Skabich, who joined MAST about 10 years ago, focuses on the company's work in the parks and recreation, institutional and education sectors.

Cava Construction, a construction management firm in New York City, has named Bassam Tarazi to the newly created position of director of business strategy. Formerly, he served as director of operations at OmniBuild, a renovations-focused CM firm, which Cava says is now integrated into its operations.
James W. Hughes, dean of the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, has bequeathed $1.75 million in his will to the school, along with another $1.75 million to the university's engineering school, where he was an undergraduate, Rutgers announced on April 13. Hughes has been dean of the Bloustein School since 1995. The school offers degrees in urban studies, planning and public policy.
