The design-build team of KBR Building Group and Clark Nexsen was charged with programming, designing and constructing Medicago's 97,000-sq-ft research and production center in just 12 months. The Medicago USA Vaccine Research Facility, Production Facility and Greenhouse in Durham, N.C.,  focuses on commercial-grade vaccines derived from plants—including a relative of the tobacco plant. The facility features a 27,000-sq-ft greenhouse, headhouse, laboratories and office space.
