Located approximately 90 mi northwest of Indianapolis, Fowler II has the potential to power approximately 50,000 average American homes.

Mortenson Construction�s scope of work included the installation of 133 GE SLE 1.5-megawatt wind turbines, 133 foundations, 19 mi of access roads, 40 mi of underground collection, 345 kV transmission line and one 345 kV project substation.

Fowler Ridge II will deliver more than 1 billion kilowatt hours of clean, renewable electricity every year, and brings new revenue streams to rural communities without impacting traditional farming and grazing practices.
