The Associated General Contractors of Colorado presented its annual ACE Awards to AGC-member companies on Nov. 4 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Colorado Convention Center Hotel.

The new state-of-the-art St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood has 671,154 sq ft of space for patients, including 272 private patient rooms, 30 isolation rooms, 72 ICU rooms, 24 operating rooms, two nuclear medical rooms, two CAT scans, one MRI area and three helicopter landing pads. The project was voted the Jack Mincher Peoples Choice winner for contractor GE Johnson Construction and mechanical subcontractor RK Mechanical Inc. in this years AGC of Colorado ACE Awards competition.

There were 14 ACE (first place) winners, followed by 8 Silver Awards (second place) and 7 Bronze Awards (third place).
