Denver Police Crime Lab

Denver

The new Denver Police Crime Laboratory dramatically enhances the department's ability to identify and investigate suspects and prosecute criminal cases. The 60,000-sq-ft lab is significantly larger than its former 14,000-sq-ft space on the sixth floor of the nearby Denver Police Administration Building. A secure underground tunnel connects the new laboratory to the Property Management Bureau, where the evidence is stored. The lab's larger size and improved investigative spaces allow for better staff interaction and for increased efficiency and education in the science and technology of forensics.
