Banner Health partnered with the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center to provide patients and their families with a higher level of cancer care in Arizona. Located on the campus of Banner Gateway Medical Center, the project will be anchored by a 120,000-sq-ft cancer outpatient center and supported by 76 patient beds on two floors inside of Banner Gateway. Services will include medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, pathology, laboratory and diagnostic imaging as well as other supportive clinical services. The entire building design was done in 3D using Revit, while BIM is facilitating the design assist process with key subcontractors and the design team.
