This independent 14-acre campus completed an expansion enabling it to educate 480 students from pre-kindergarden through eighth grade in an atmosphere that honors and respects Jewish traditions. The new two-story, 155,000-sq-ft wing houses classrooms, administrative and support areas, laboratories, cafeteria, media center and a gymnasium.

Judges were impressed with the project’s electrical scope: a 4,000-amp main service backed up by a 150 KW generator providing standby power. A web of conduit and wiring was installed to 38 new electrical panels supplying power to equipment and 4,000 light fixtures. Specialty wiring was required to the gym’s new indoor swimming pool and for the theater dimming system.
