Gov. Rick Perry has reappointed Bill Thornton of San Antonio as chair to the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2012. Thornton received a bachelor’s degree from Trinity University, a doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry, and completed his oral surgery residency at Baylor Medical Center.
In addition, Gov. Perry has reappointed David Allex of Harlingen as chair to the Cameron County Regional Mobility Authority for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2012. He received a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University at Kingsville and attended the Institute of Organizational Management at the University of Notre Dame.

Hill & Wilkinson in Dallas announced that Greg Wilkinson and Fritz McKinstry have been promoted to co-chairmen of the company. Paul Driscoll has been named CEO and Doug Talley has been named president. Wilkinson and McKinstry will continue to provide strategic leadership.
Skanska USA in Houston announced that its building business unit promoted Matt Daniel to senior vice president of business development. Daniel formerly served as vice president of business development.

Corgan in Dallas named Jennifer Conrad as director of Healthcare Business Development. Conrad’s responsibilities will include the promotion, marketing and business development efforts for the firm’s health-care studio. She graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a bachelor’s of fine arts and a master’s in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

UniversalPegasus International in Houston has promoted Craig Pierrotti in the corporate role of vice president of business development. Pierrotti has fifteen years of experience in the energy industry and has been the director of business development for UniversalPegasus’ Offshore Division. Pierrotti will facilitate overall domestic and international business development at the corporate level.
