Jeannine Doyle has been named president and chief operating officer of Linthicum, where she previously served as executive vice president. During her 20-year career with Linthicum, she also has held numerous management roles and is currently a partner. Eric Linthicum will maintain ownership and the position of CEO for the company.
HB Construction welcomed Thomas Thomsen, LEED AP, as project manager, in charge of sustainable plan of action development and LEED project certification. Thomsen joins HB Construction with 15 years of high value new construction projects and an aptitude for sustainable solutions.

The PENTA Building Group appointed Clifton Cole to the position of BIM manager. Cole joined PENTA in February of 2005 as a project engineer working out of the Las Vegas office. Cole’s new role is part of PENTA’s ongoing commitment to BIM. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
AMEC hired Alex Batt as manager of its Tucson office. For the past 21 years, Batt has been employed by engineering companies serving Arizona and the western United States. Prior to that, he served as an engineer and project manager with the City of Tucson. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona.

Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers added to its Albuquerque team. Melanie Amend, a CAD technician, comes to BGCE with over a decade of experience working with government, education, healthcare and residential experience. Colin Evans, LEED AP, has four years of experience as a mechanical engineer and is a member of Engineers Without Borders. Joel Mekkes holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Phil Sitges is an electrical engineer with more than 14 years of experience.
Sundt Construction Inc. has promoted Martin R. Hedlund to senior vice president and Southwest District manager. Hedlund joined Sundt in 1984 and has served in a variety of roles including project manager, superintendent and project engineer. He serves on the National DBIA Certification Board and WESTMARC’s board of directors and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Stanford University.

was promoted to the role of transportation manager for Southern Arizona operations. He has more than 15 years of experience designing transportation projects at Stantec and is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
