A software company whose roots in the Las Vegas casino development market led it to create tools for designing, building and fitting out capital-intensive projects, has taken the next step with the release of a Web-based system to automate management throughout facility life cycle.

TRIRIGA Inc. and its real estate and facilities affiliate made its extensively tested FacilityCenter 8i commercially available on Jan. 31.

The product applies the FacilityCenter technology acquired in August from Peregrin Systems Inc., San Diego, to TRIRIGA'S Intelligent Business System platform. It has been engineered to provide an integrated view of all properties for facilities management, operations and maintenance.

"The goal is to demonstrate the value of maintaining properties, of utilizing facilities 100% and of cutting facilities when appropriate," says marketing director Dave Karpook.
