A new portable version of timekeeping software created for architects and engineers that tracks project time on a hand-held computer is now available in a Windows CE edition.

BillQuick CE has a timer that functions even when the handheld is off. The software transfers the data back to the correct client file categories when synched with the office version of the system. It is also available for Palm-based devices.

The developer, civil engineer Shafat Qazi, president of BQE Software, Lomita, Calif., says he created it to "translate time into money." Information is at www.BillQuick.com.
