Manufacturer adds a new product to its Kevlar Armor Technology line. Kevlar 970 ES, an engineered yarn with a stainless steel element, is for workers exposed to hazardous conditions that require an enhanced level of cut protection for their hands and arms. This patented technology includes Kevlar fiber spun around a stainless steel core that offers heavyweight protection with a lightweight feel. Sensing-Safti-Gard motor control helps users achieve higher levels of safety by preventing accidental machine start-ups after a voltage drop or power interruption. A built-in sensor blocks the control from resetting until the equipment switch has been turned off. The product is suitable for use with equipment driven by small motors operating on 120V AC or 240V AC (single phase). Titan T-Flex harnesses include soft, stretchable and fully adjustable webbing. Standard features such as the sub-pelvic strap and back strap add support and provide increased safety in the event of a fall. A nonslip, adjustable chest strap adapts to the user’s size to ensure proper fit. Harnesses include a lanyard ring and a sliding back D-ring/pad for correct positioning and added comfort. Company introduces a new line of safety products designed for use by construction, safety and other professionals. The Knight Eagle PSH is a high-impact safety helmet with front and rear illumination. The Knight Owl PSL, a professional safety handheld light, provides up to 100,000 hours of cautionary illuminations. The line also features the PowerMax PS-1220, a portable power station that weighs less than 15 lb. This new multi-gas monitor used for detecting any configuration of one to four gases has been approved by the Canadian Standards Association. Model M40 is capable of monitoring carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, oxygen and combustible gases found in industries such as construction, oil and gas, petrochemical and any confined space applications. Housed in a rugged composite case, the monitor is immune to radio frequency and electromagnetic interference. When gas concentrations exceed preset limits, the device alerts the user with the bright visual 90-dB alarms and activates the internal vibrating alarm for high-noise environments.
