Mississippi The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Center is planning to build a complex on Front Street in Meridian. Virginia The Virginia Dept. of General Services is planning to build a new General Assembly Building at the intersection of Broad Street and Ninth Street in Richmond. The 15-story, 450,000-sq-ft building will accommodate offices for the 140 members of the General Assembly, as well as legislative staff members, public meeting rooms and a cafeteria. Washington Executive Group Development is planning to build Ava Tower, a mixed-use project at 802 E. Pine St. in downtown Seattle. The 39-story, 622,225-sq-ft building will include 213 residential units, 190 hotel rooms, 9,042 sq ft of retail space and a below-grade, 296-space parking garage. Ohio Shook Construction has started work on the Massillon wastewater treatment plant expansion project. The work involves an anaerobic-anoxic tankage and IFAS retrofit, tertiary filtration replacement, a pre-thickeners retrofit and an odor-control system.
