South Dakota The Sioux Falls School District is planning to build a laboratory/auditorium building for the Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls. Missouri The State of Missouri is planning to repurpose a section of the existing railroad right-of-way near Pleasant Hill that formerly belonged to the Rock Island Pacific line as a bicycle and pedestrian trail. The project involves placing 1.4 million cu yd of sand as beach fill, to create a berm with a width of 90 ft at an elevation of +8.5 ft NAVD, and a vegetated dune with a crest width of 25 ft at an elevation of +14 ft NAVD. The project also includes constructing 49 timber walkovers from behind the dune to the beach. The project is valued at between $25 million and $100 million.
