New Mexico The Clovis Municipal School District is planning to build the new Parkview Elementary School. The single-story, 63,806-sq-ft building will be located on 14th Street. Dekker/Perich/Sabatini is the designer. The construction manager-at-risk, which has not yet been selected, is expected to use the design team’s BIM model for reference and create its own working model in order to detect and eliminate conflicts and help to maintain the schedule. Oklahoma The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents currently is considering submitted bids for a number of subcontracts of the Physics and Astronomy Building on the Norman campus. The three-story, 54,400-sq-ft building will serve as an extension of the existing Nielsen Hall and provide state-of-the-art laboratory spaces as well as additional office and classroom space. It will be located on the former site of Gittinger Hall. Miles Associates is the designer, and Flintco LLC has been chosen as the construction manager. The project is valued at $27 million. Washington The Port of Seattle is planning to make improvements to the Sea-Tac (Seattle-Tacoma) Airport NorthStar Main Terminal.
