Lee Sisco has joined HDR’s Charlotte office as the East region federal director. Sisco comes to HDR after 24 years in the U.S. Navy, where he held a variety of leadership positions, including commanding officer of the nuclear-powered submarine USS Louisville and deputy director of intelligence at the U.S. Pacific Fleet headquarters. He has experience leading cross-functional teams and managing programs ranging from technical engineering projects to human resource management and is a certified project management professional.
Tina Millan has been named senior vice president and director of the U.S. aviation practice of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff. Based in Miami, Millan has more than 15 years of experience managing large-scale capital infrastructure programs. She previously served as vice president of aviation for a global professional services firm.
In its Charlotte office, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff appointed Chip Smith as area manager for its Carolinas water practice. Smith, who has more than 30 years of related experience, will focus on the planning, design and construction of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure improvement and rehabilitation projects.
The firm also named Victor J. Godlewski as a senior supervising engineer in its Orlando office. In this position, Godlewsk will focus on expanding the company’s work on major Central Florida wastewater and reclaimed water projects. Prior to joining the firm, Godlewski served as the city of Orlando’s wastewater division manager.
Luis Casado has joined Gannett Fleming’s Miami office as Southeast region director and senior vice president. In this role, Casado is responsible for eight offices: Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee, Tampa, West Palm Beach, New Orleans and Memphis. He has more than 24 years of related experience with complex infrastructure projects across the Southern U.S. as well as in Central and South America.
Miller Construction Co. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has named Lane Hacker as controller. He will be responsible for financial reporting and records and controls and budgets to ensure accuracy and mitigate risk. Previously, Hacker served as a senior audit associate with Grant Thornton’s Fort Lauderdale office, where he led audit teams for commercial real estate clients.
Stanley Price has joined the TKDA Aviation team in Macon, Ga., as a senior registered engineer. He will head the firm’s operations in Georgia and eastern Alabama. Price is a professional engineer with more than 25 years of experience.
NOVA Kennesaw has hired Steven Schultz as a construction materials testing business unit manager in its Kennesaw, Ga., office. He has four years of related experience.
Scott Bull recently joined Vanderweil Engineers’ Atlanta office as a senior account executive. Bull has more than 20 years of industry experience and has extensive experience in management and strategic planning as well as business development. He most recently served as manager of engineering and commissioning for mission-critical projects at Morrison Hershfield.
Professional services firm Dewberry has hired Amanda Murphy as a marketing manager in its Raleigh office. She has more than 15 years of experience.
