Second Avenue Subway
New York City
After boring two subway tunnels through 33 city blocks, Skanska-led crews install the running rail, third rail power and signal and communications systems to enable trains to access the Second Avenue subway’s new 96th Street Station. The first phase of the line, which cost $4.5 billion, opened in January.
