Slated to be the first WELL-certified office in Texas, Stryker’s new regional distribution center combines a 320,000-sq-ft office and warehouse project with an open plan that was designed to inspire collaboration and increase productivity.
The project scope included a tilt-wall, core-and-shell building and interior finish-out as well as site development, building envelope, mezzanine break room and utility infrastructure. The design emphasized daylight and integrated natural elements such as segmented wood ceilings.
A tight schedule combined with more than 50 days of rain delays meant resequencing the project’s phases and adding overtime work to deliver the project on time.
