Georgia Atlas Real Estate Advisors is planning to redevelop a century-old, 12,000-sq-ft cottonseed mill in Athens into Pulaski Exchange, a 40,000-sq-ft mixed-use project. The plan calls for adding a partial second story to the existing building, which will serve as commercial office space, and constructing two new structures with commercial ground floors and three levels of condos above. All three buildings will be organized around a new public plaza. It is being designed by Arcollab. The project is valued at between $5 million and $10 million. Louisiana Babington Properties L.P. is planning to develop a six-story mixed-use building at 1717 Canal St. in New Orleans. The 348,447-sq-ft building will contain 14,229 sq ft of ground floor commercial space, 239 parking spaces, 212 apartments and two interior courtyards. New Jersey Rockefeller Group Development Corp. is planning to construct two single-story logistics buildings totaling 1,036,870 sq ft on a 228-acre site in Piscataway that was formerly owned by Dow Chemical Co. The two buildings represent phase one of an industrial park that will ultimately include six buildings. Phase one is valued at $106.8 million. Utah The city of Logan is planning to construct a new regional wastewater treatment facility. The 18-milion-gallon-per-day complex will include a pump station, a headworks with screening and grit removal, three bioreactors, four clarifiers, a UV disinfection building, return activated sludge building with BioMag feed/recovery and a dewatering building. It is being designed by Carollo Engineers, and MWH Constructors Inc. has been selected as the construction manager. Construction is expected to begin in April and be completed by October 2021. Wisconsin R2 Cos. is planning to redevelop the downtown Milwaukee post office complex. The 1.1-million-sq-ft building, erected in 1968, sits on a nine-acre site at 341 W. St. Paul Ave. along the Menomonee River. The planned mixed-use complex would feature 980,000 sq ft of office space in both converted space and a new office tower on the building’s west end. A 282,000-sq-ft residential tower would abut the east end. The project will also include a 13,000-sq-ft extension of the river walk and a pedestrian bridge over the river, connecting to the Harley-Davidson Museum. The project is valued at $150 million.
