Air Compressor: Starts at Lower Temps

The CPS 1800 JD8 is a single-stage, rotary-screw compressor that has a 240-gallon fuel tank for up to eight hours of continuous operation at high load. It is able to deliver air at three settings: 100 psi at 1,800 cfm, 150 psi at 17,000 cfm and 200 psi at 1,400 cfm. It runs on a 525-hp turbocharged Deere engine that meets Tier 4 final emissions standards and is capable of starting at 14° F without cold-start options. Chicago Pneumatic; www.cp.com

Crushing Plant: Improved Fuel Usage

The Lokotrack LT200HP mobile cone crushing plant is designed primarily for producing secondary and tertiary aggregates. These materials are well suited for road construction as well as asphalt and concrete production. The LT200HP features a direct v-belt drive from the gearbox, which results in up to 15% improvements in fuel consumption, according the manufacturer. Cordless Wet/Dry Vacuum: Portable Cleanup

The GAS18V-3N cordless wet/dry vacuum is powered by Bosch’s 18-V 6-Ah battery platform. With a 2.6-gallon capacity, the vacuum can run for up to 24 minutes of use on a single charge. It can deliver up to 51 cfm of airflow and features a washable HEPA filter. The vacuum weighs only 10.2 lb and comes with a set of attachments, including three extension tubes, a crevice nozzle and a floor nozzle. Fall-Arrest System: Retrofit Kit for Boom Lifts

JLG has added a bolt-on fall-arrest system for its boom lifts, allowing users to safely work outside the platform when using a fall-protection harness. It consists of two steel brackets with a 6-ft cable and a free-moving ring to which fall-arrest lanyards can be attached. The system allows for JLG platforms that lack factory-installed fall-arrest systems to be retrofitted to accept harnesses. It can be attached to any 36-in. by 72-in. or 36-in. by 96-in. platform on a JLG boom lift. The system does not require a reinforced platform and does not de-rate the platform’s capacity.
