Former Chicago Aviation Commissioner Ginger Evans was named CEO of Reach Airports, an airport manager owned by Munich Airport International and The Carlyle Group’s CAG Holdings. Evans was an ENR 2018 Newsmaker for inking the $8-billion revamp of O’Hare International Airport and has more than 30 years of experience.
Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates has promoted Blake Andrews to associate director in its London office. Andrews will relocate from the company’s headquarters in Northbrook, Ill.
Skender has hired Stacy Scopano as the Chicago construction and manufacturing company’s chief technology officer.
Skender also announced the retirement of Joseph Skender, chairman of the company’s board of directors. In 1980, Skender joined the then small carpentry contractor his father founded and helped grow it into a major Chicago contractor. In retirement, Skender becomes chairman emeritus. His brother, Mark Skender, remains CEO.
Dan Loftus has joined HNTB’s Chicago office as senior transit project manager. Before joining HNTB, Loftus managed programs and projects for regional transportation owners, including Metra, the Illinois Dept. of Transportation, the City of Chicago, the Illinois Tollway and the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District.
