Edgemoor’s plan for a new single-terminal Kansas City International Airport was recently approved by the Kansas City Council.

“Once start work is done in about four to five weeks, we will start demolition of terminal A, which is the location where the new terminal is going,” Stricker says.

“[The council’s vote] recognized the importance of the project, and they were ready to move forward. It’s a big thumbs up for business, economic development, labor and for the minority and women-owned business community,” he says.
