CONNECTICUT BRT General Corp. is planning to construct the Brainerd Place mixed-use development in Portland. Phase 1 will include construction of a 37,500-sq-ft retail and office building, a pharmacy, coffee shop, restaurant and leasing center as well as a three-story apartment building with 102 units. Phase 2 will include the final 37,500 sq ft of the retail and office building and would add a 134-unit, four-story apartment building. It is being designed by Munkittrick Associates.
