Jessica Kanfer has been hired by Tri-Star Construction Corp. as senior director in the firm’s New York City office. She was most recently The Office Group’s head of U.S. acquisitions.

Ryan Soames Engineering has hired Bonnie Pfleiderer as vice president of business development in its New York City office. Previously, she had been director of business development at Mass Contracting Corp.

The LiRo Group has promoted Nancy Malicki to vice president in charge of its marketing department; she had been an associate vice president.
 

Alexa Gangemi has joined HNTB as a transit and rail senior project manager and associate vice president. Most recently, she was a senior project manager at Jacobs.
 

Jaros Baum & Bolles has promoted three managing partners: Mark Torre, whose prior roles included partner in charge; Scott Frank, who leads the sustainable design practice; and Walter Mehl Jr., who has been the firm’s principal electrical engineer.

Nino Conti has joined LeChase Construction Services as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He had been senior director of financial management at M+W Americas in Texas.

Bala Consulting Engineers has made three hires. Al D’Elia is director of business development; he had been managing director at NorthStar Owners Representation. Don Callahan is a senior mechanical engineer and project manager; he was an associate at Robert Derector Associates. Keith French is the electrical department manager; previously, he was a senior associate at WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Jack Resnick & Sons has named Keith Macchiaverna as managing director of design and construction. Previously, he was director of project management for LeFrak Commercial.

OBG, part of Ramboll, has hired Kenneth Lynch as director of strategic growth initiatives. Lynch is a former executive deputy commissioner for the New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation.

Acoustic Distinctions, an acoustics and AV system specialty consulting firm, has hired Charlie Burnor as a senior associate. He had been an AV consultant at Avvit Consulting.

Anthony Simon has joined Ware Malcomb’s New York office as director, retail architecture and design. He was previously a principal and managing director at IA Interior Architects.

Edward Tyll has joined LF Driscoll Healthcare, part of Structure Tone, as health care estimating manager. He had been a senior estimator at RP Brennan General Contractors.

Cooper Robertson has made several hires. Jason Cadorette rejoins the firm as a senior associate from a previous role as an architect at CetraRuddy Architecture. New architectural designers include Iris Kim, who had been an intern at FreelandBuck; Collin Gardner, who co-founded The Architects; Anjulie Palta, formerly an intern at Studio Gang; Alan Song, who had been a junior architect at OMA; and Jason Fung, who was a designer at MarkCo Studio. Lloyd Helen was named an intermediate designer; he had been an architect at Fraser Brown MacKenna Architects.

Cauldwell Wingate has named Phillip Amarante as senior director of sales and business development. He was director of business development at Hunter Roberts Construction Group.

Roger Prince, deputy director of operations and capital delivery in the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s tunnels, bridges and terminals department, has joined HNTB Corp. as project director and associate vice president .

Aviation security expert René Rieder joins Burns Engineering’s New York office as a principal security specialist. He had been an associate principal at Arup.

Paul Nietzschmann has joined Dewberry as vice president and infrastructure group leader in New York City. He previously served as president of Municipal Engineers of the City of New York.
