Greenville’s downtown is undergoing rapid growth, having developed a reputation as a destination spot for dining, shopping and entertainment.  As a result, Wiggins says, there is an increased community focus addressing the need for safe, affordable housing for the growing workforce. That reflects a strong regional trend, with Wiggins noting that four Greenville County cities rank among the top-25 fastest growing cities and towns in South Carolina, according to new estimates by the U.S. Census Bureau.
