Headlamp: USB Rechargeable

Milwaukee Tool has expanded its line of headlamps with four new models. The Beacon headlamp provides visibility in all directions around the user. The lightweight Low-Profile headlamp is only 1-in. thick, fitting easily on a hard hat or bare head. Both headlamps are USB-rechargeable. Straight-Boom MEWP: Full 360° Rotation

Straight-boom mobile elevating work platforms in Manitou’s TJ series offer hydraulic movement and 360° rotation. Maximum platform working heights for the four models range from 64 ft, 9 in. to 84 ft, 6 in. The 65+ and 80+ models feature a larger 7 ft, 7 in. by 2 ft, 11 in. platform with a 900-lb capacity, able to hold three people. Each model runs on a 49.6-hp diesel engine. Reversible Plate Compactor: Adjustable Width

The BPR 60/65 reversable plate compactor is now available with a gas-engine option. The flexible base plate design allows for compaction widths of 17.7 in., 25.6 in. and 29.5 in. It is powered by a Honda GX 390 gas engine with a fuel consumption of less than 1 gallon per hour. According to the manufacturer, the BPR60/65 is able to compact 91.9 ft per minute, allowing it to be used across large areas relatively quickly. BOMAG Americas; www.bomag.com

Production Excavator: Improved Hydraulics

The PC2000-11 hydraulic excavator is a 225-ton class machine designed to load 70-ton to 200-ton rigid-frame haul trucks. Powered by a 1,046-hp engine that meets Tier 4 Final standards, the PC2000-11 uses dual diesel particulate filters to meet emissions regulations and does not require the use of DEF. The excavator features seven cameras mounted around the frame to provide full 360° visibility to the operator via a dedicated 10.4-in. touchscreen monitor in the cab.
