The coronavirus has put the states of New York and New Jersey on pause. For now, the construction industry remains among the "essential businesses" allowed to keep offices or project sites open as needed. But contractors, project owners, design firms and others must deal with new policies and procedures in order to abide by the law and ensure the health and safety of workers from the back shop to construction sites.
Collected below is the latest news and commentary about COVID-19's impact on construction in the Garden State and the Empire State, updated frequently.
