Rubell Family Collection is planning the Randall School Mixed-Use Redevelopment at 65 I St. SW. The $100-million design-bid-build project calls for 489 units in two 12-story residential buildings. The new residential building will be set behind the historic Randall School. Renovation work will be in the older buildings and consist of a 31,839-sq-ft contemporary art museum, educational uses and 18,602 sq ft of commercial space. There also will be a two-level underground garage with 301 parking spaces and an additional 550 bicycle spaces. The project is expected to start Oct. 1. High Street Residential is proposing a yet-to-be-named mixed-use project at 631 P St. NW. The up to $50-million design-bid-build project includes a nine-story above grade reinforced concrete building with two stories below grade for a total of 200,000 sq ft. The project would include approximately 215 residential units with 6,000 sq ft of retail. Below-grade parking will accommodate about 100 cars. Hillwood Investment Properties is building a warehouse at 650 Old Churchmans Road (formerly 100 Piccard Road) in New Castle. The $116-million project is expected to start Oct. 1. It will include one building with two stories above grade totaling nearly 1.2 million sq ft and site improvements. The building includes a mezzanine, 262 tractor-trailer spaces and 1,015 car spaces. Ribera Development LLC is building the Miller Creek Residential Complex-Clubhouse-Pool project in Frankford. The up to $50-million design-bid-build project is expected to start Oct. 1. It includes 25 wood-framed buildings—each two stories above ground—totaling 135,000 sq ft on a nearly 50-acre site. The project includes a clubhouse and a pool. Maryland
Maryland Dept. of Transportation is accepting design-build bids for $100 million in improvements along the multilane freeway from Interstate 70 to State Road 43 in Baltimore. Greystar GP LLC is building the Ourisman Ford Apartment Redevelopment in Bethesda. The more than $67-million design-bid-build project is expected to start Oct. 1. It includes a 12-story structural steel building above grade and two stories below grade totaling nearly 374,000 sq ft. Plans call for a 75-ft-tall apartment building with a largely glass facade, structured parking, two private courtyards, a leisure trail and outdoor pool.
