Jacksonville construction has been impacted by the pandemic, but Auchter says office build-to-suits, industrial distribution centers and infrastructure contracts continue to move forward. One exception is the Jacksonville International Airport Concourse B expansion, which was delayed due to decreased passenger volume.
“Most health care construction planning turned from capital projects to operational efforts in response to the pandemic,” Auchter adds. “It is expected most capital projects will resume once COVID-19 is under control.”
