This 16-story development totals nearly 800,000 sq ft in a design that “merges modernity with nature.” A total of 302 residential units were built in varying sizes, complemented by more than 12,000 sq ft of retail space and five levels of above-ground parking. Building within a busy urban site along a major Denver thoroughfare required close coordination with surrounding communities and residents. The complex exterior cladding system and curved design posed another challenge. The high-performance metal panels interlock to form the exterior shell but had to be perfectly aligned vertically and horizontally and installed with less than 1.8 in. of variability. An entire building mock-up of the cladding system led to precision installation and a sleek, glassy finish.
