The two multilevel municipal parking garages serve visitors to Symphony Park in downtown Las Vegas. Each contains approximately 600 parking spaces and 28,500 sq ft of shell space for street-level retail. The $33.1-million project was delivered in December 2019.

Located on a 51-acre remediation site, the campus also includes the Smith Center for the Performing Arts, the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum and the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

The project’s central challenge was connecting new structures with the existing ones. Six colorful, alternating galvanized metal profiles screen the garages and reflect the surrounding environment, turning the buildings into works of art. Their verticality derives from the Smith Center tower and its garage; the metal recalls the skin of the Lou Ruvo Center and the Smith Center facade, while precast concrete elements match finishes and textures used elsewhere on the site.
