North Dakota The Garrison Diversion Conservancy District is planning to carry out the Red River Valley Water Supply Project. The project entails constructing a 165-mile, 72-in.-dia pipeline to carry water from the Missouri River near Washburn and empty into the Sheyenne River above Baldwin Dam. The district is currently evaluating submitted bids for construction of a wetwell. Construction of the wetwell is expected to start in spring 2021. Three additional contracts will be bid later. Utah Extell Development Co., doing busines as EX Utah Development, plans to build the Military Conference Hotel at the base of Mayflower Mountain Resort in Park City. The 12-story, 615,000-sq-ft hotel will contain 388 rooms, 55 condos and 60,000 sq ft of conference, food and beverage facilities. It has been designed by OZ Architecture, and Falcon Development of NC has been chosen as the general contractor. Construction is expected to start in spring 2021 and be completed in 2024. Florida Utility relocation work is expected to start shortly on the Kirkman Road Extension in Orlando. The project entails extending the eight-lane roadway 1.7 miles, from Universal Boulevard to Carrier Drive. It is a public-private partnership between Universal City Development Partners and Orange County. Universal will manage the project. Johnson Bros. Corp. has been selected as the general contractor. Wisconsin 12/17 Waukesha Water Utility is seeking bidders to carry out a water supply project. In addition, it includes installation of 2.19 miles of new return flow pipeline between Waukesha and New Berlin, 1,490 ft of new discharge pipeline and 2.71 miles of new water supply pipeline.
