“The Iowa Legislature recently passed the Iowa reinvestment act that set aside $100 million and asked for potential projects that could be funded in part by this pool of money to really spur economic development in communities around the state,” Tousley says.
 “Through this process, six propsals were shortlisted and interviewed, including two projects in central Iowa, one for the Des Moines Buccaneers junior hockey team that would be developed out of a former big box department store and another for a professional soccer team stadium,” he says.
