“We stayed busy all through the pandemic, but our backlog is not as strong as it used to be,” Nwankwo says. “That’s to be expected. Anytime there’s an interruption in the normal flow of business, you’re going see it go down. The projects that were being considered during the pandemic that didn’t happen, we’re now feeling the pinch because they didn’t, there’s  a gap. Most companies’ backlogs are not as strong. Coming out of the pandemic we’re hoping those reconsidered projects will be greenlit, because, if that happens, there is going to be a flood of projects.
