Flatiron Construction is rebuilding the Interstate 25 and Exit 11 interchange in Las Animas County south of Trinidad. The Colorado Dept. of Transportation project includes lane and ramp widening, roundabouts and retaining walls. It improves port-of-entry access and adds guardrails and other safety features to a new bridge for pedestrians and bicyclists. The $13-million project, scheduled for completion in November, also incorporates new lighting and upgraded signage.
