Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Tempe, Ariz., has promoted Scott Salyer to vice president of project development. Salyer previously served as senior project manager in AP’s Gulf states region and as a project executive and the vice president of operations in the Southwest region. Salyer joined the company in 2017.
AP also announced that Brian Kinney has been hired as vice president of operations, bringing over three decades of expertise in the multifamily, senior living and K-12 education markets.
Clayco announced three new hires in the Phoenix office: Ryan Abbott joined the firm as executive vice president, Southwest region; Eric Jaegers joined as senior vice president, residential business unit leader; and Ron Ensley joined as an operations executive.
The PENTA Building Group has promoted Rodd Weber to executive director of safety and quality, based in Las Vegas. With more than 23 years as a full-time safety professional, Weber formerly served as PENTA’s corporate safety director since 2007 and stepped into the role of corporate director of safety and quality in 2021.
PENTA also announced the promotion of Randy Nielson to preconstruction executive, based in Phoenix. Nielson joined PENTA in 2006 and has served in a variety of roles, most recently as senior preconstruction manager.
McCarthy Building Cos. has promoted Antonya Williams to business unit leader of the firm’s education group in the Southwest region, based in Phoenix. She will continue to serve as a member of the national firm’s executive leadership team. Williams joined McCarthy’s Southwest region in 2016.
McCarthy has promoted Chris Anvik to business unit leader for the firm’s national water group, based in the Phoenix office. Anvik has been leading water and wastewater construction teams for McCarthy for nearly 20 years, building major water infrastructure projects and related technical upgrades on aging infrastructure for communities in Arizona, Texas, California, Colorado, Nevada and throughout the Midwest. He previously served as senior vice president of preconstruction for McCarthy’s water group.
W.E. O’Neil Construction has promoted Adam Macey to senior project manager based in the firm’s Phoenix office. He joined the firm in April as a project manager.
Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. has hired Tim Johnson as landscape architect in the firm’s Tucson office. Before joining Bowman, Johnson owned JStudio LA LLC in Tucson for more than four years. Johnson previously worked as a principal within another multidisciplinary office in Tucson for 15 years.
Matter Real Estate Group, Las Vegas, has hired Kaytlin Knudson as development construction manager. Knudson brings nearly a decade of experience in industrial and commercial project management with a strong focus in real estate development. She previously served as the project manager at Compass Development in Las Vegas.
