Mark R. Rosekind, the former administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), has been named CEO of the California Mobility Center (CMC). The Sacramento-based nonprofit is aimed at funding, testing and commercializing advances in mobility technologies.

Jill M. Hudkins has been promoted to president at Tetra Tech, expanding her role to lead the firm’s strategic planning and operating segments. Leslie Shoemaker, Tetra Tech’s current president, will transition to chief sustainability and leadership development officer.

Dayna Dealy has been promoted to vice president of development for Skanska commercial development in the Seattle region. She joined the firm in 2018 as the director of real estate development.

Burns & McDonnell has promoted Zach Herrington to director of operations for the firm’s offices in Denver and the Pacific Northwest. The firm also promoted Michael Lehrburger to regional manager of the water group in California and promoted Tony Paresa to Pacific branch operations manager in Honolulu.

WSP has added five people to its Northern California leadership team. New hires include Eric Biland as the local business leader for water and Rajiv Dabir as business line leader for energy. Promotions included Becky Cliftwas to business line leader for property and buildings, Elizabeth Justison to business line leader for transportation and Lauren Tsoi to local business leader for advisory.

San Fernando, Calif.-based Bernards has announced the appointment of Dave Cavecche as CEO and Andy Buerk as president. The pair succeed Jeff Bernards and Greg Simons as both executives move into retirement.

Kenneth Oh has joined HNTB Corp. as construction services group director and associate vice president based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. His responsibilities include serving the highway construction management market for Southern California.

Alex Barake has been hired at Suffolk as the company’s business development director in San Francisco in order to support and strengthen the company’s strategic partnerships and client development in Northern California.

Wendy Unzelman has been named MG2’s chief financial officer in the Seattle office. She has been with the company since 2008, working first as controller before being promoted to vice president of finance in 2018.

Jon Rodriguez has been named chief financial officer of Manson Construction Co. in Seattle. Most recently, he served as CFO for GeoEngineers Inc.

Jonathon Stage has joined Thornton Tomasetti’s San Francisco office as a vice president leading the sustainability team on the West Coast. Most recently, he served as a vice president at Willdan.

Sacramento-based Royal Electric Co. has named Greg Schniegenberg as its new chief operations officer.

Solomon Cordwell Buenz has promoted three individuals to principal; Matt Bens and Francesco Mozzati in the San Francisco office and Nolan Sit in the Seattle office.

Brian Nguyen has been promoted to civil engineering manager in Ware Malcomb’s Pleasanton, Calif., office.
