Christopher Corwin has joined Brown and Caldwell as the company’s national drinking water leader. In this position, he will drive drinking water technical innovation and growth. Corwin has held various leadership roles throughout his 20-year career related to drinking water process planning, distribution system water quality, treatment optimization and modeling, and bench- and pilot-scale testing.
Hord Coplan Macht has added Christian Fussy as a principal in the firm’s senior living studio. He will be primarily focused on senior living and health care projects and will be working in Denver. Most recently, Fussy was a principal at Lantz-Boggio Architects. His recent senior living projects include an 867,000-sq-ft life plan community for Erickson Senior Living, a 1.3-million-sq-ft senior living community and a skilled nursing and rehabilitation care center at the Disney Celebration community in Florida.
Jon Gilbert has been named Colorado aviation group leader at Dibble. He brings more than 16 years of experience in a variety of aviation-focused roles, including business jet charter service development and strategy and airport operations. Gilbert was most recently vice president of aviation for KLJ Engineering.
Pinkard Construction has promoted Blake Chambliss to chief operating officer. In this role, Chambliss will provide leadership for all facets of Pinkard’s current and future construction projects. He will also continue to lead Pinkard’s self performance group. Pinkard also promoted Joe Revielle to construction manager, where he will provide direct supervision of construction projects. He was a senior superintendent.
Burns & McDonnell hired Zach Herrington as director of operations for the firm’s offices in Denver and the Pacific Northwest. Herrington was previously the firm’s director of project delivery and construction.
Global design firm HKS has named Brandon Andow as facades studio practice leader. Based in Denver, Andow joins the HKS LINE (laboratory for intensive exploration) studio and will lead the development, analysis and implementation of performance facades and building enclosure systems, with a focus on cost-effective, transformative, low-carbon facades that improve occupant health and experience.
National commercial real estate development firm Ryan Cos. has hired Reed Ruck as senior vice president of real estate development for multifamily in the Rocky Mountain region. Ryan has primarily focused on construction projects in Colorado and surrounding states, and Ruck’s new role as the region’s first real estate developer supports its area expansion. He will primarily concentrate on multifamily opportunities, with additional focus on industrial and mixed-use. Ruck was most recently the executive managing director at NEXmetro Communities.
Robert Ostermiller has joined HNTB as senior project director and vice president in Denver. He will work with transportation clients in Colorado and other Western states to develop and deliver the region’s largest and most complex projects. Ostermiller's nearly four decades of experience in project and program management includes leading large alternative delivery projects for the past 21 years. Most recently, he was a senior vice president and senior program director for WSP USA.
