Texas Gas Transmission LLC is planning to carry out the Henderson County Lateral Pipeline expansion. MASSACHUSETTS

Boston Properties is planning to build 250 Binney St./Building D in Cambridge: a 17-story, 432,740-sq-ft office/lab building with eight levels of below-grade parking. MICHIGAN

OREGON

The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District (TriMet) is planning to build its fourth bus base facility in Portland. It will include four two-story buildings: a new bus maintenance facility; an administration and operations building; a fuel-and-wash station; and a potential CNG compressor yard, totaling 320,000 sq ft. SOUTH CAROLINA

UTAH

The Utah Dept. of Transportation is planning an Interstate 15 improvement project in Lehi. The project entails reconstructing and widening I-15 with two new lanes in each direction from Lehi Main St. to State Route 92 (from milepost 279.832 to 284.207). In addition, the project includes reconstructing the interchanges at State Route 92 and 2100 North; building two new, one-way frontage roads on both sides of the freeway between the two interchanges; a new bridge to carry traffic on Triumph Blvd./2300 West over I-15; and 13 bridge replacements and new bicycle and pedestrian features. FLORIDA

Black & Veatch, the design-builder, has started constructing the FPL Turkey Point Clean Water Recovery Center in Homestead, which will treat up to 15 million gallons per day of wastewater from the South District Wastewater Treatment Plant to be used to cool the natural gas-fired Unit 5 generating plant. The project also includes construction of an 8-mile-long, 42-in.-dia water line connecting the wastewater plant to the Turkey Point Clean Water Recovery Center. NEW MEXICO

DeBartolo Development LLC has started building the Arcadia Apartments at 5300 Las Soleras Drive in Santa Fe. The development will include 15 three-story buildings totaling 330,032 sq ft containing 332 units and a pool. 3/2 The Architect of the Capitol is seeking design-build bidders to carry out the facade stabilization of the seven-story Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building. The work involves removing and replacing all sealant in joints that have granite facade panels as a substrate (i.e., stone-to-stone joints and stone-to-window joints) and removing and replacing weeps at existing through-wall flashing locations, in conjunction with the sealant work. The project is valued at between $15 million and $25 million. Construction is expected to start in May 2023. 3/24 The FAA is seeking bidders to perform mechanical and electrical upgrades to the Terminal Radar Approach Control Facility (TRACON) in Elgin. Work entails replacement of four reinforced fiberglass, field-erected cooling towers; replacement of four main facility chillers and associated pumps and accessories; and replacement of multiple pieces of HVAC equipment such as air handling units, fan-powered induction boxes, variable air volume boxes, constant volume boxes, unit heaters, exhaust fans, return fans, leak detection, circulation pumps, piping system valves, fittings and insulation.
