Bechtel recently marked the opening of its new office in Chandler, Ariz. City Mayor Kevin Hartke joined Catherine Hunt Ryan, Bechtel manufacturing and technology president, for the ribbon cutting event. The office will serve customers building capital projects in semiconductor, EV battery and data center markets. “The thriving business and high-tech landscape in the Metro Phoenix area allows Bechtel to attract top talent as we design and build projects for our customers,” Hunt Ryan said. Bechtel also has an office in Glendale, Ariz.

Gilbane Building Co. recently noted the topping out for the expansion of Carson Valley Health in Gardnerville, Nev. The $55-million project broke ground in the fall of 2021. Upon completion in 2024, the 44,000-sq-ft addition will update the emergency department and add operating rooms, procedure rooms, acute care and ICU beds.
