Philadelphia-based BKP Architects has elevated principal Caitlin Daley to president with majority firm ownership, transitioning the firm to a woman-owned business that has its certification pending. A BKP partner, Daley leads its architecture and planning work in the MidAtlantic and Northeast regions.
Chad C. Mayers has been promoted to the newly created role of chief operating officer at Schnabel Engineering in Glen Allen, Va. He was corporate executive vice president and also president of the firm’s geoprofessional business unit.
The Associated Builders and Contractors has named Stephanie Schmidt-Lehmann executive vice president of industry relations and member value. She was president of Poole Anderson Construction in State College, Pa., and 2022 ABC board chair.
EA Engineering, Science and Technology Inc., a public benefit corporation in Hunt Valley, Md., has announced several promotions. Chris Canonica, executive vice president, was named chief operating officer, succeeding Mike Battle, who is vice chair of the firm’s board. Battle joined the firm in 2005. EVP Sarah Ridgway, a 22-year firm veteran, is chief transformation officer. Named chief of client programs is EVP Brian Lesinski, former manager of EA’s New England operations. Jason Echelle, EVP and chief financial officer, has been named treasurer as well. In that role, he succeeds Peter Ney, who also is a new board vice chair.
Jesse Lindsay has been named to lead TranSystems’ newly formed marine and industrial market sector service. He joins the firm after its purchase of Baltimore-based Whitney Bailey Cox & Magnani LLC, of which he was executive vice president.
Philadelphia construction management firm LF Driscoll has named as vice presidents Michael Dikon, an 18-year firm veteran who led preconstruction of area projects, and Matthew Guinan, a 20-year veteran in health care construction. Michael Wolfe has rejoined the firm as vice president. He was vice president of Kitchell, based in Southern California.
East Petersburg, Pa.-based Warfel Construction has promoted Steve Davis to its executive team as vice president for Virginia. Based in Winchester, he continues to lead regional projects.
Precis Engineering + Architecture has hired Doug Seaboldt as director of a new structural engineering group, based in Ambler, Pa. He had been a principal at Mainstay Engineering Group in Blue Bell, Pa.
Ray Verrelle has joined HNTB Corp. as vice president and senior project director in its transit and rail practice. An 18-year Amtrak veteran, he was vice president of engineering services. Kimberly Gilbert has rejoined the firm as project director and vice president in Arlington, Va. She had been senior director of program implementation for the Northeast Corridor Commission in Washington, D.C.
ZDS Architecture and Interior Design has named Jason Millhouse as managing director in Washington, D.C. He was director of design management for IHG Hotels.
