Two Rivers Lumber Co. LLC is planning to construct a sawmill on a 110-acre site at the Lake Martin Regional Industrial Park in Kellyton. The project scope includes construction of building space; installation of drying kilns, automated conveyors; and log feeding, turning, scanning, chipping, sawing, trimming, sorting, stacking and strapping equipment. Peak North America has been selected to provide turnkey services for the project. Two Rivers will use the facility to produce southern yellow pine dimensional lumber. OREGON
Zenith Energy U.S. L.P. plans to expand its liquid fuel terminal in Portland. The phased project scope includes construction of railcar-unloading platforms, fuel storage tanks, spill containment systems and three connector pipelines; fabrication and erection of pipe racks; purchase of 12-in-dia pipe; pipe stringing, welding, coating and backfilling; and purchase and installation of fuel pumps, rail and marine vessel unloading and loading systems. The project will double the terminal’s storage capacity and enable conversion to 100% renewable fuels storage. Alpha Technical Group Inc. has been selected to provide design engineering services for the pipelines. The estimated EPC cost is $25 million. WISCONSIN
Kikkoman Foods Inc. is planning to construct a soy sauce production and distribution facility at the Jefferson Food and Beverage Research Park in Jefferson. The two-phase project scope includes construction of 412,000 sq ft of building space; and purchase and installation of stainless steel tanks and piping, fermentation vessels, conveyors and filtering, filling and bottling equipment. O’Neal International Consulting PLLC has been selected to provide owner’s representative services. CRB has been selected to provide engineering, procurement and construction management services. Phase I construction of a 195,000-sq-ft building is expected to begin late in the second quarter of 2024. Phase II, an additional 217,000 sq ft of building space, is expected to be complete in 2032.
